Default Billstein vs. Koni - which one lasts longer?

i'll be upgrading my suspension soon, and it seems like billstein and koni are the two manufacturers out there. not accounting for money, which one is the best? in my case, they'd be getting paired with eibach pro-kit's.

I've had both brands years ago, but for different cars...I like Koni for hard driving...damping is precise but a little on the hard side. I put it on my AE86 Corolla GT-S (Trueno). Good for autocross and if you get the adjustable ones then it can be better refined. The billsteins on the other hand I put on my Mercedes and they are solid on high speeds..absorb all bumps and doesnt bounce you back...its like no matter how hard you hit a bump, it just eats it up all once with no bouncing back. Probably good for Road Racing...Only thing is I have not heard anyone using Billsteins on Honda's yet, EF model at least.

Unfortunately, I got rid of my GT-S before the shocks went...But I had em for 2 years with no problems and used it of and on autocrossing...My billsteins are still on my Mercedes. I installed em 1996 and I noticed the performance going maybe 2 yrs ago. Not too bad that I need to replace em...just gotten softer, I think.

My dad had Bilsteins on his racing Type R before he switched to Buddy Club. One of the reasons we used Bilsteins is because there were no Konis for our application, and we didn't want to use anything lower than these 2 companies. I have Koni adjustables on my CRX and i like them a lot.

You get what you pay for. Scale of 1 to 10, they're a 4 to me. And Tokico blue's a 3.

a friend of mine has his eibach sportlines on KYB AGX and they're really nice. The ride is really comfortable on the lowest setting. But he has only had them on for about 2 months.
Ground-Control also says AGX are "Top of the Line" on their site.

I always though Koni adjustable were the shiznit

I have bilsteins in my 89 hatch with maxspeed coilovers and they didnt quite fit,so I had to put bored out skunk threaded sleeves in the rear and run one perch at the lowest spot other wise the car was raised about an inch. I havent got the fronts in yet so i dont know if there will be any troubles there.
