D series tranny from a 95 fit in a 98?

Default D series tranny from a 95 fit in a 98?

my trans blew in my 98 DX will a 95 DX tranny fit on it with no problems? same clutch?

yes, all d trannys will be the same. if you were going with an ex then the clutch is different. but stick with the dx and it will be the same.

one thing about the 98 trannys is they have steel shift forks and the 95 have aluminum

Yes... they are pretty much da same trannys... that 95 tranny will go into place jus perfect and yes the clutch can be used....if you already got a 95 dx tranny you might as well jus slap dat bish on n call it good!!? i dont see no point in transferring the shift forks from one tranny to the other its jus a waste of time ImO...

I think he meant the clutch fork...so yes, the clutch fork is the same.
