Default Cheap, DIY Way of making your own Balancer shaft removal kit for H/F Motors

Just thought of it right now.. What if i just cut the balancer shaft right at where it bolts to the block? I would leave enough to where the bearing surface will seat properly and seal the hole but the rest of the balancer shaft will be cut off and removed completely. Let me know what you guys think. I am going to try this right now.. My main concern is how thick the balancer shaft is lol

If you not gonna remove the shaft, just leave the balance shaft belt out...

this is how i did my half *** balancer removal good luck ur oil light gonna come on if the car doesnt idle above 1000 rpm if u dont block the oil passage ur gonna carrie about 5 psi of oil pressure till about 2000 rpms just buy the kazzin speed kit to do it right

if you are going to be cheap then why not just tap the balance shaft hole and thread a block off in it

the point of removing the balance shaft is to lose weight. The way you are describing to do it would be just as affective saving all that time and just cutting the belt off and calling it a day
