Any one have any problems with distributor king?
I bought a brand new distributor from them 3 weeks ago, and its already bad. I have only heard good things about them and am wondering if maybe I just got a defective part. First my tach went crazy, which I just figured was my cluster, but than today, bamm car falls on its face and dies. 2 hours later I try another distibutor in gander mountain parking lot, and the car starts up perfect. Tach works as well

Anyone have any problems with them?

 

I have purchased 2 distributors from them and neither has had any issues.
Im assuming you have not yet contacted them about the problem....

 

I emailed them, just now. I was just asking cuz I have heard only good things from many people.

Just an update. Had another DK dizzy crap out on me today. I would not recommend them at all 2 dizzys in a little over 4 months. Its was in a basically stock b16.

 

Just curious, how do you know the problem is the new dizzy as opposed to a problem with your plug wires or distributor connector or wires?

What exactly in the distributor fails?

 

Brand new NGK wires on both motors. I don't think its related, since this happened on two completely different motors. Not sure what fails in the dizzy.
