DSS stage 3 problem
hey guys,
i have an EK that has a build b16/hydro tranny. now last week my DSS stage 3 axles (green boots) either broke/snapped for an unknown reason on the street when i was boosting on 4th gear! now the axles were bought in the end of 2005.....the axles only have 5k then they broke....i think with 18psi of boost am definatly not making anything more than 380whp...this has been done to vehicle during the last 3 months:
1- caster/toe/rod aligment (twice in the same month to double check)
2- new FR traction bars
3- new Ksport suspensions set as full stiff and camber arms
4- built tranny with quaife LSD and Exedy twin plate, stock linkage and shifter
5- new OEM hub bearings
6- new 15x7 wheels with 35mm offset
7- 3k on BFG drag radials (225/50/15) were 19psi of pressure when the axle broke
the car lately was acting strange everytime i boost the car tends to go little to the left then to the right even though the car went through alignment twice in the same months and YEA i have an LSD for sure
what could be the reason to break those axles? what makes the car to take slight left/right turns when boosting? and how to prevent both problems? any advice?
