Hey man I saw the web site and had a few questions. We would like to bring down two cars to the event but would like some information first.
I saw you have bracket classes which is cool. But I saw on the results page fpr Atco you had Quick 16. However I could not find any rules for the class in the drag race section. So will you be running Quick 16 at Atco? Heads up or dial in? If it is a bracket race, is it standard style or is there a "cushion" or break out allowance like NHRA had last year? Are diapers or engine containment devices mandatory?
Thank you and hopefully we get down to race for your event

yes, we will have a quick 16 class at atco. it applies directly toward a bracket style class just like nhra's version.
we do not use engine containment devices, as we directly see what the main cause of oil downs are. catch cans. make sure if you are running a street classes, you have at least a minimum of 2 qt capacity catch can/ breather box.

Hey man all I want to do is race and go some rounds. Doesn't matter where it is, who's putting the race on or even what class....let's just go. We will probably bring down two Q16 cars if we can get this chassis straightened out but we will most deffinately have one there.
Look forward to the event and will try to recruit some other VW guys to come down also

would could do that as well. but in mho, there is no need to. we can accommodate anyone at any certain time to make sure you pit in the location with whom you choose to be with. we just dont do favors for individuals as we treat everyone as a equal. but if you like you can start a thread and i will try my best to preserve spots for all of you guys!
some guys like to just pit with there classes and some dont. others pit with guys from the same shop.
p.s. layouts at every track are different, but im sure we can make it work for you guys.

Thanks Jason-about the 2 quart can. I dont have any breather lines coming of my valve cover other than my stock one, which lets of very little blow by. You saw mine in FL do I really need a 2 qt?
Atco is pretty tight for parking, so reserving pit spots would be a help

i do believe all of the battle of the imports races will be live, and will only get better. ( would it be nice to have a huge screen to watch like powerade, at the track? ) that would be cool...
