Default Changed spark plugs, found oil

I changed my plugs last night, while changing going from right to left my 2nd valve from the right had oil in it, had a little white smoke when I started then went away of course. Nothing to bad.

Just wanted to make sure, too fix this fix the valve covers correct? easy enough job

Also I have a 1990 crx si stock 1.6 engine

After I get the answer go ahead and lock this "toad" thx to all

I think by valve you meant spark plug. Change out the rubber rings that prevent the oil from getting into the chambers and you should be sweet.

Just pick up a valve cover gasket "kit" and it will have all you need.

Is your valve cover torqued correctly? Try putting a sealant on the gaskets?

I found the same thing a while ago. Bought a valve cover gasket set and changed all gaskets and problem solved. I think there called the "tower seals" I could be wrong

I was having the same problem on 2 spark plugs on my crx, I was running redline sythetic at 185,000 miles. It was hard on the piston rings, so I switched back to regular oil and went away, drove it with regular oil for 10,000 miles with no oil at the bottom.

Then while it was parked a stupid drivier hit it and totaled it out after having for 2 1/2 years and 3,750 spent on it.
