I went to go pick up the fiance from work, and i put my key in and it wouldnt turn all the way. I have two keys, niether worked. I tried another honda key that only works for my door locks, and no dice. The keys for my ignition will turn a little bit, but the one that only works for my lock doesnt turn at all..

Whats the deal? And before anyone gets smart, its NOT the steeringwheel lock =p

This really sucks, its my only car, I NEEEEEEED it working.

Ignition replacements are really pretty easy. Remove the housing and start it with a screwdriver until you can get a swap from ebay. it's really a matter of a couple screws and wires.

 

the internals of the cylinder is probably worn out. you can have it repaired or just replace it altogether.
