Automatic Transmission Lock Up Control Solenoid Valve / Code 19
I searched here and found nothing, I did find a couple links to other sites but nothing ef related so here goes.
I have a 91 ef with AT and a D15B2, DPFI. I have pulled and rebuilt the motor nothing fancy. Im still not sure I have the timing correct but the car starts up beautifully I don't even have to press the gas pedal.
However as soon as I put in gear it dies. Reverse or forward and Im getting one code on the ecu 19!.I have never seen this code before but does anyone where the AT Lock up Control Valve is? I have checked the FITV, I have new plugs, no vacuum leaks. I did notice the FITV keeps sucking air after the car has warmed up but it's not the kind I can take apart and tighten the washer in it. Any help or idea's would be great.

the valve looks like kinda like a vtec solenoid, and i think it should be at the top of the tranny under the distributor, with a 1 wire (yel/blk) connector.
You can do a simple test by removing the solenoid and running a positive wire from the battery to the solenoid plug and a negative wire to the housing. A clicking sound should be heard. If not check for continuity between the harness and the body ground. Replace the solenoid if there is continuity (if it doesn't click).
and thats out of the helm manual, and that is all it lists.
