noob here just bought an ep3 need upgrade help
hows everyone doing my name is chris im from massachusetts, i just buaght an 03 civic si, low milage, since i bought it i installled a k and n short ram system, and a greddy cat back exhuast, i purchased and installed a set of hp racing headers which was a mistake, they were very cheap the dc sports are on the way and now im stuck.
i need suggestion on what else i can do to release more performace out of the enigne, i would love to be able to have the 6000 rpm v tec kick in, could that be done by adding type s cams, or do you need a whole new dc5 head, also a stand alone engine managment system looks good its the apexi neo ill take any suggestions, im totally noob to this and i want to really get in to it, thanks

You need the whole head and the swap isn't worth it (you don't get the high compression the a2 has). I wish my vtak wasn't so loud. I got pulled over for my "exhaust" because of it...
Swap, boost or supercharge. Bottom line, going n/a on the a3 is a waste of money (IMO).

Your best bet is going forced induction. The stock compression in the A3 is perfect for it. You can get great numbers from either turbo or super charging. Also first you should get K-Pro. You can use this in the mean time to raise your redline and get a good HP bump. Then when you do get your FI setup you can just use a different program.
