Default thinnest but best back protector?

My alpinestar tech race back protector is quite thick and adds like 3" to my back and makes my suit kinda tight. A thinner protector would help me out but of course I still want the protection. What's my best option? Buddy has a bohn but says it's a pain in the *** to put his suit on with it even though it's thin.

I have a Dainese 6plate back protector. It's pretty easy to get my suit on with it.

I've got a Bohn Pro Race bp. It's really thin, especially compared to that A* bp.

any problems when putting your suit on? My buddy has the cool air one but with his spidi suit it's a total paint in the *** to put on and take off his suit since it's so wide

No problems with the Bohn. It does ride up a bit when you first put the suit on, but pushing it down once the suit is on helps.

I guess if I was smart and was paying attention I would've bought Mschu's helimot back protector for cheap.

I've got a UFO back protector that fits well under my suit. I don't even notice it anymore really. Cost me around $70 and it's CE approved. Probably 2" thick at it's thickest point.
