Default Which cat to use for a bseries swap

There are a number of topics on this, but I do not want to go aftermarket. Most threads suggest Carsound, and while I have gone SMSP once, not this time around.

It's for my gf's 95 Civic hatchback, with a stock GSR swap. The cat she has on there right now is custom fitted and welded to her existing catback, and we do not want to reuse it.

I am planning on getting her an Apexi WS2, so I would need to know which cat she can use with this particular catback and her stock GSR exhaust manifold.

TIA.

I would say if using the stock GSR header it would be best to use a cat for a GSR.....i know GSR header is shorter then LS

Are you serious? What cat? Get a universal and stop worrying. Most people say Carsound because it's high flow and cheap. Go to Summit Racing and order one--they are only $70.

The universal wouldn't be a direct bolt-on-and-go kind of deal, would it.

I don't get what you are trying to do. You want a new cat, but don't want to have to weld it in?

Look at the stock cat, 3 point bolt-on.

The 'summit racing' cat you recommended, is like my old SMSP cat.
