i got a sir gsr b18c .... i want to put in a ctr camshaft ? wondering if i got to do a valve adjustment ?

 

nope not necissarily. It wouldnt hurt though if you know how to do it

Ummm... last I knew you would if you wanted your car to run right. I know they have the same valve clearances between GSR/CTR/ITR but it does need to be done. When I installed my ITR cams in my GSR the clearances were all off.

 

Yes, you must do the valve adjustment. No two parts are identical. It is worth 15 minutes to make sure everything is in spec.

 

yes - you do have to, anytime you change out a cam o r jsut remove a cam you must check valve clearence after reinstallation.
