wow....thats really cool that all of those class's are getting close to the next barrier....never really noticed.


im going to vote for pro front. those guys seem to keep stepping it up quickly, and we have seen some big mph increases lately.

all motor is flying but dropping an aditional 2 tenths is going to be really hard.


if spfwd was on 26's....i think i might vote for that. there are a few people that are stepping it up pretty good right there.

 

I thought there was already a 6 second modified..

Thats a tough one. I voted 8 sec spfwd as its the one I would like to see most - and with everyone pushing the class the way they are I think its the most likely. The Pro fwd guys are absolutely moving but that 6 sec barrier is going to be a tough one.

One option I didn't see that I think should be up there is a 9 sec Power Street pass

 

i went 8 sec sfwd.
i think it will be out of the blue, no one seeing it coming, like the happenings of late 06.

but having only to make 1 choice that was it, id love to see a 6sec fwd pass.

Thats what I thought, but maybe they reset the records for a rule change.

 

Good post.. I went w/ 6sec ProFwd .. they are real close and w/ a good track and weather it's going to happen.. "Guaranteed"

Now SFWD I don't see it happening on 24's..I could see 9.1?'s on 24's but that would be really maxxing things out imo.. ... Maybe we should hold a no holds barred 26in Race sometime later this season..

i can see Jeremy going an 8 very soon in pro all motor.

if sfwd cars were on 26's i think it would have happened already. I do think someone will get into the 8's on a 24.5 tire this year.

 

ProFWD gets my vote

I think 8's in T/S could happen on 24.5's if they gave Ballard and Reynold some turbo back . Right now I like F. Medina's for 8's that car is awesome to watch .

I think for SPFWD to go 8s, they will need to use the 2nd power adder

 

i think mikey williamson (boostedcivicsir) will be
the first to go 8's on a T3 turbo

 

8.9xx in all motor....

k-series is still relatively new and who knows what is left in these motors. the real question is whether the 8.9xx pass will be ran in NOPI or BOTI...Im not sure how the rules differ as far as weight. but it will take all the stars to be aligned for this to happen.

I cannot agree more. I figured with technology and experience growing with these motors last year they might have seen some 8.9X's but, I guess we'll still be waiting until the end of this year.

 

It would be a toss up between 8 sec SFWD or 6 sec Pro FWD.


If I had a choice on which one I would rather see first it definitely be an 8 sec SFWD..
