Default car stolen

Well, I guess I don't have to worry about my paint anymore.

Some lowlife stole my car last night. It was parked at my friend's apartment, way back in the lot where you'd never see it from the street. The last time I saw it was at 9:45 p.m. last night. My friend and I took his car to go shoot some pool, and when we got back at 2 the car was gone.

There's no trace of it. No broken glass or anything. I suspect it was just towed away, but who knows.

For years, my car was safe in Austin. Within three weeks of being in Dallas it's gone. I hate this place.

I think the saying goes....

"Expect the worst and hope for the best"

However, does his apartment complex require some sort of parking sticker?

Some of the apartments in my area will tow immediately if there is no sticker in the window....

Could this possibly be the case?

sorry if this is not the case

That's the DFW for ya. Once of the reasons why I was in no rush to see my caR back on the streets. Which part of Dallas did this happen at?

Ummmm Yea, But if it was towed ( legally towed /OR illegally ) whereever it is most likley isnt safe , being taht an ITR isnt safe anywhere IF the OWNER isnt with heR.
So , legally or illegally towed , its most likley not going to have som key parts ,( Motor /Trans/ECU, Suspention , interion , bumpers , lip wing headlights . )

this sucks man , i feel horrible .GL with the find and recovery ,
Hopefully they DIE a horrible slow agonizing death to whoever stole it .

oh man , i dont really know what to say .

Everytime i open the ITR section ,
and there is the word "STOLEN" at the top of the list ,
I look at the thread title , and slowly look over at the OP , Hoping its not someone i know personally ,

Not to say it means any less to me if your car gets stolen and i dont know you ,
they both suck alot.
But if its someone i know ,
i always get worried that The end result will be me in jail for really hurting someone ,
and i cant be doing things like that .
I already have enough trouble with the Law when i beat up people TRYING to take my car .

Again To The OP: Good luck with everything man , keep us updated

Thanks, guys.

The complex doesn't tow itself. Residents can have a car towed if it's in a reserved spot, but mine wasn't, and it's a drawn-out process. My friend has spoken to the manager, and there's no record of any car being towed last night.

It's just a lowly Integra, nothing special. Sucks that the thieves won't allow a person to own one.

If I catch the scum who did this, I'm gonna sew his bunghole shut and feed him ex-lax until he explodes.

Edit: forgot to say, this happened in the area where Carrollton meets Addison.

i saw JjunR's quote , and then as i was reading lucky's , i was thinking it at the same time , it was really weird

but yea , thats crap again it sucks that any R got stolen obv,

But all the OG members , who most likley dont go to the stupid places .
they are gtting targeted ,
i think because its so rare , that the theives are willing to take bigger risks , wich sucks , cos then we have to take bigger risks too ( ex. Killing someone )

To all of this theivery , its retarted , go but parts, WTF is wrong with people nowadays ?

It's not even an R. Just a plain old Integra.

I guess I should have posted in the other forum, but I never go there. This is where the people I've talked to for years are.

When I first joined H-T, it was after my first test-drive of the then-new RSX. I came here to see if anyone else thought it was as awful as I did. Well all the DC-5 kids thought I was an a-hole, and told me to "go back to the ITR forum with all the other snobs." So I figured the ITR forum must be pretty good, and I was right. That's why I posted here.

I've always been pretty careful with my car. Never posted pics online or anything that would identify it. But it is still a car, and to be useful I have to be able to drive it, and even park it in places.

I think this has more to do with location than anything else. I never felt like I had to worry about my car in Austin, because there were very few ricers/teenagers there and the crime rate is low anyway. But here in the North Dallas suburbs it's a different story. The place is loaded with scumbag ricers and bored teenagers, and there's a lot of crime too.

Anyway, I'm rambling now. Lines from "The Big Lebowski" keep running through my head.

"All the Dude wanted was his rug back..."
