I'm replacing an upper ball joint boot this weekend because it blew on me. I was just wondering what type of grease is used to fill it up. Thanks in advance.

 

are they not sealed and already have grease in em? i know mine are

 

No they are not sealed. I bought a new boot and clip for the UCA ball joint from Honda. The one on my ball joint right now is busted open and has no grease left in it. My uspension goes 'clunk' on almost every bump because it blew.

The boot will be sealed once I am done replacing it. I just need to know what type of grease goes in. The Helms just says 'grease'.

 

Go to the auto parts store and ask for axle grease.
