How do you add clutch fluid?
I just bought a 1990 honda civic SI(hatchback/4-speed). I notice, when i shift,it's rougher then usual. A guy told me I needed clutch fluid(which I figured was the problem). Only problem I have is I'm new to hondas and manuals, where and how do I add clutch fluid? step by step if possible and whats recommended for the best performance. thanks
Its the same place on these cars where you put the muffler bearings, the valve batteries, the piston return springs, and the blinker liquid.
Hint: its a cable.

clutch fluid is different than transmission fluid. you mean transmission fluid.
locate the oil filler plug and take that out FIRST before draining the tranny. the reason is that the fill plug is often seized and troublesome. you dont want to drain it before not being able to refill it... use a 17mm 6 point box end wrench, not a 12 point. it will strip! use a long tube funnel to fill the oil. the drain plug has a square, just use a 3/8 ratchet.
otherwise, follow the instructions.
