Well probbly it is either your clutch fluid or transmission fluid, as far as the hydrolic clutch fluid goes just check the clutch fluid bottle, if thats full then its probbly your trans fluid, hopefully with the clutch being so worn as u say you didnt do any kind of serious dmg to the transmission to force leakage.

What color is the fluid your leaking.

but im a novice for the most part so seek others oppinions.

it looks like it can be coming from the bottom of my tranny... where it conects to the block... but it just started happening... the only wierd thing is back by my speed sensor, its a bit wet there too... so im not sure...

blackish fluid? hmmm either really really really dirty trans fluid or it is oil.

basic fluid colors.
coolant=blue for hondas but originally green.
oil=light brown which usually turns to dark black.
manual transmission fluid=almost a clear **** color and shouldnt change to many shades.
Auto fluid=red and if not changed it can become very dark.
power steering- redish/brown/black.

but yeah those are the basics off the top of my head.

and if you dont have power steering, and the color u have is really dark id lean towards oil.

If its wet in both areas id check for a oil leak by the head could be dripping on the 2 spots.

a bad clutch wont cause a leak... a bad seal can. I have a bad seal on both sides of my block and it seems to converge right above my new exhaust... jack up the car and see where exactly its coming from. Good luck.

no a really worn clutch will not make it leak unless you brake gears and it goes through the case and manual trans fluid is just regular oil, its just packaged as manual trans fluid.

Have you checked the oil from your dipstick?
If not, check it.. it could be your valve cover gasket or dizzy.

Feel around your trans for cracks in the case's. Also check your coolant hoes's, all of them.

Look for the leak, it sounds to me like the rear main seal. I know when they go bad on some vehicles it leaks from the tranny/back of motor.

I just did one last week on one of my military humvee's

ok... the main back seal seems like a deff possibility, yet i have no cracks in my casing, my dipstik says im good, and no leaks in my coolant hoses... so im not sure... hopefully tomm or wed, ill take it to honda (poppa works there) and have it all checked out when they do my clutch... i just hope this bad clutch hasnt screwed my tranny....
