I know its possilbe but i also know you have to cut the pillar's plastics and drill into the pillar to mount the bar but i need a tutorial or some kind of guide, has anyone on here done it? Also does the b pillar bar from a ek hatch fit on a ek coupe? I know these bars dont do much but i want to run them just for cosmetics (i think it looks pretty cool) aha THANKS!

The seats don't act as any sort of brace between the C pillars. They're made of fabric and foam

You're right. They don't do much. Why not just add more dead weight for cosmetics?

You know wat i take that back, my friend just rolled on the highway a couple days ago and he said the thing that saved in was all the strut and pillar bars in his car. Ya his car got F*cked but the bars helped stop everything from crushing inwords sounds crazy ya i know. But that aint the point a bar connecting the pillars must do some kind of stiffening my homie got a 600whp integra wit a traction bar in the front and that stiffened up the front end enough to stop wheel hops so he runs stock axels believe it or not.

I didn't read the thread, but I don't often believe things people say. Hearsay leads to bad information being spread.
Also, stiffening in the right places can be beneficial, yes, but putting bars anywhere and expecting results is pointless.
I just thought about the bar in question again... the C pillar in a coupe is right along the rear window. I've never seen a bar for a coupe there, nor do I think there are any mounting points at which to affix it. If so, I have my doubts as to what it actually tightens up.

Im just saying if they dont do anything then why do they make them? ek hatches run them and even eg coupes (btw in eg coupes its in the same position as where it would be in a ek coupe its just the ek coupes seat belts go into the back deck instead of the c pillar.)

A 2-point B pillar brace doesn't really do all that much because it's in the center of the car and there isn't much sideways torsion that would cause the chassis to move in and out there. Improvements are minimal. That's the same thing for the C pillar. A hatch would probably benefit more from this, but most hatches are running more than a 2-point brace on the C pillar anyway... they're typically 4-5 point with 2 points on the actual C pillars themselves. A coupe couldn't run that kind of brace because of the rear deck.
And just because someone manufacturers it, doesn't mean it serves a purpose. I'm just saying you could spend money on better things.
