Default C-Pillar bar on 99 Coupe?

I know when I had my c-pillar bar in my DA it was simple, just had to remove the rear seatbelts and it bolted to the bolt there. Anyway, I just ordered one for my 99 SI and was wondering how I install it since the seatbelts in the back come from the trunk cover where the speakers are? Anyone have one on a coupe and can supply some info and even pics about this install? TIA!

You're probably going to have to cut holes in your c-pillar garnishes and tap a bolt into them.

Return it - its completely useless on a coupe because there is the rear deck brace behind the seats.
If you really want to install it (stupidly) you will have to cut holes in the trim and weld or drill/tap it to the pillar, itself (without nuts behind those taps, it will tear out anyway though)

Fits 92-95 Civic 2/3/4 door, 96-00 civic 3 door and 94-01 Integra.
DA/EF ALSO AVAILABLE!!!

it says for 96-00 civic 3 door so that would leave me to belive that i will not work on a coupe

That is a harness bar...for mounting a racing harness to but would probably suit the look you are going for

in that link theres a pic of a civic coupe it says civic club or something on the side/rear windows, the bar sits on the pillar between the two windows, and its a megan bar.

What about if I used that c pillar bar in the spot im describing, behind the headrests from pillar to pillar and used it for my takata harnesses since I have OEM seats still. Do you think this will work?

I wouldnt do it especially since it was not designed to support a harness, and chances are it will be to short to stretch that sitance since the interior tapers down towards the back...i think (im not in my car)

It happens to the best of us you should be able to return it. Just let the seller know that it does not work for your application, if the seller is worth anything they will refund the money

No.

That crap doesn't do anything to begin with, so why waste your money? Save it or buy something worthwhile.

It would be more than retarded, between the b pillars...
If you want to do it, go ahead...serves no purpose other than ridiculousness.
It will probably be too short to fit...but why dont you just go out and try it, rather than continuously asking "will it fit?"

I beg your pardon...but i believe i offered plenty of help, and so have others....you just chose not to accept their help or information. As stated before i dont think it will reach from "b" pillar to "b" pillar. It may work on the c pillar however you would have to cut the platic drill and tap some holes. This is the best information we can offer you since you bought the wrong part...you are saying no one wants to help however you even admited to buying the wrong part so how can anyone give you accurate information since most people can attest to using the right part for the right application, not the wrong one.
