Any pictures of 5% and 20% tint?
Any of you guys have pictures of 5% tint all the way around on your vehicles? Also was wondering what 20% would look like. Also any from the outside? Basically on any car.
This is for my truck though. I have 5% over the factory tint which I think is around 20% or so for the rear slider and the rear 2 side windows. For the front 2 I have 35% tint on it and when the sun shines it hardly looks tinted I mean you can see through it just fine. I wanted to get 5% put on the front but the local shop I'd like to do it says unless I take the windows out and bring them to him like that he won't do it as he thinks it's just unsafe and doesn't want it coming back to him. Another shop will do it but I wasn't too happy with their work the last time I had them tint a window for me. Anyway the guy I'd like to do it said he however would do 20% and that it's still pretty dark. I went and held up 20% over my window which had 35% on it and it didn't look much darker. I mean it was a little harder to see through but I could still see everything inside just fine. I'm wondering if it will be alot darker with it on the other side too.
Basically I don't to be able to see in. The back side windows you can't see in at all at any angle no matter how the sun hits it. I kind of want my fronts like that but a little lighter. The rear slider you can see in only because the windshield lets so much light in.
I don't want to pay to have mine stripped and it redone to be unhappy with it and I have a feeling with 20% I wont be happy with it. Thats why I want to see comparisons. He said 20% would be how my rear was when it was stock which wasn't dark at all.
Anyways sorry for the long posts basically just want to see pictures of 20% tint and 5% on any car. Also would like to hear how you like it and if it's hard or easy to see into.
Thanks.

I did search and got a few results but would like to have a modern thread with many different pictures.
That Civic really makes me want 5%

Basically what I'm hoping for now is some pictures of 5% and 20% from the inside out. Anyone have any of these? I've seen a few of each from the outside but not many from the inside out.

Man that 5% is what I want. I was looking at some trucks when I went to the store today light mine with the factory tint on the rear and I had forgotten how easily you could see through that. The guy at the shop told me 20% was about what mine were before I had 5% put overtop of them. After seeing those trucks today and a couple SUV's with factory tint and actually paying attention I didn't think it looked that much darker than my 35% does. I don't that for sure. I'd probably leave mine alone if thats as dark as I can get. I want 5% but not sure if I want it at the same time as I don't want a ticket and I don't want to not be able to see at night.
