Default I just got my turbo kit, TURBO newbie questions, PLEASE help!

I just talked to a turbo tuning guy and my plans are 7-8 pounds of boost. I have a 255lph fuel pump and my turbo kit came wih a 12:1 fmu. here are the questions.
I was orginally going to do AEM EMS for my car however
1) I was told to use a VAFC and buy wideband kit instead. or
2) should i still buy injectors? if so what size for only 7-8 boost

I will be installing my turbo kit 2nd week of june.

7-8 psi on what turbo? A GT30, or a T-25? You have to be specific to get a reasonable expectation.

Ditch the FMU. AEM is expensive, and there are other tuning systems that cost less. I say go for the wideband so you can have a constant readout of your AFR, if something goes wrong, you'll know it. About the injectors, look for 550s. It's also a good idea to go a little higher with injector size just for room to grow.

Search the FI forum, there is tons of info in there

I actually had a turbo kit on my accord, and I would suggest getting the aem. It tellls you EVERYTHING with your car. I kow its expensive but ebay some go used for 70--900. I much rather buy that then replace the motor. Also go with a wideband, it will show you always the AFR. For 7-8 psi you wont need injector jsut the fuel pump. I ran 9psi without leaning out.

Are you serious? You must have had a hair drier for a turbo. Why take the risk with not putting injectors in?
