Default Hondata for 07 TSX???????

I was wondering why I can't put the Hondata reflash on my 07 TSX if there are not differences in the drivetrain or ECU's programming that I know about. Can anyone shed a little light on this? Thanks.... I will be posting pictures of my car soon.....

The only info i can give you is that there will not be a reflash for the 07+ tsx. If I find somemore info on it I'll let you know.

ive always wondered the same thing. the only difference between 06 and 07 is the tire presure mangement system. i can't think that would be the only reason.

What about the Euro R? The TSX is not a Euro R...the engines are different.

The only difference between 06 through 08 is that 07/08 has the tire pressure monitor system. I don't know if the data has to run through the ECU or if there is a totally different issue (such as the 05 auto having VIN numbers programmed into the ECU).

06's Hondata was already available in 06 I think. I doubt 07/08 will ever get Hondata. I heard that the 09 already has a lower vtec point, so maybe Acura decided to incorporate what Hondata already does. If that's the case, Hondata probably won't be looking into the TSX anymore.

I know the ECU part numbers for 07/08 differ from 06, so they are not swappable (like the 05 auto using an 04 auto's ECU).

I found an 06 ECU at Alpha ST. in Irwindale. I'm going to give it a try to see if the car will run on that ECU. The only problem that I see is the immobilizer. But I could remove that. I'll keep you guys posting onto what happens......

Hondata reflash will work on 07 and 08 tsx. But only for six speed. No auto. Which sucks cause I have auto.

Where did you hear that the Hondata reflash will work on 07 and 08 6-speed TSXs? Hondata's website doesn't specify having a reflash for 07s and 08s...

I went to my tuner guy. He spoke with Hondata guy and said that it would work. But first he asked if I had Auto or 6 speed. When I told him auto he said "Nope, Nothing for yours only 6 speed will work" So I'm just going with what I was told. We were on speaker phone.....

There possibly is some testing going on by a few posters in this thread:

I am keeping a look out on both sites.
