Increasing torque in the d17

Default Increasing torque in the d17

Do the Act CLutch packages paired with lightweight flywheels (12.5) increase our torque any or is it compairable to bolt-ons to our engine... unresponsive????

It doesn't change the output of the engine at all. It may give you better clutch feel, but that'd be it.

I beg to differ. Get a K24, and then complain about the torque.

it will get whatever power you have coming out of the engine to the ground quicker and smoother, so your car will feel peppier.. and in a way quicker.

you can get lighter weight wheels. that wont give you torque, but will make the car feel alot lighter and a bit better acceleration
