how much power are you guys making on stock motors?? i've seen alot of 200+whp but just wanna know what kinda of 1/4 mile times u guys are goin with 200+whp..just curious to see what i can look forward to

 

well last year i was making 215whp 187tq on my d series stock head (y7) and stock block...and LX tranny, i ran a 13.2 @103mph.

but everyone is different some people can't get below a mid 14 with around 200whp.
Takes practice.

 

thats pretty good..im lookin to make anywhere from around 200-220 i HOPE

 

My ej1 made 281whp/237tq @ 15 psi on a t3/t4 57 trim turbo. It ran 13.9 @ 100mph on a 1/4 mile with the motor blown half way down the track and coastiong down the other half.

 

i had about 210 with my 14b setup, went 13.6 at 106 with a 2.2 60'

 

i don't mean to hijack the thread but what kind of power do you guys think a Garret T3 Super 60 would put out on a stock motor F22B2 at around 8 psi? i was estimating like 180whp-ish. Specs on the turbo are .42 compressor and .63 turbine

 

damn 281 on a stock d16 is alot of power no wonder u fried it lol

11.5 @ 125 first run.. ebay 57 trim ...car will do a ten sec pass next run im sure of it.

amazing how these SOHC are runnin 230+ i figured runnin 220 was about the max but 250 is crazy

 

Just keep the timing down, (especially on y8) and give it enough fuel. It should run like a champ
