i have an obd1 gsr that i recently put a dh-racing manifold and 73 tapered to a 68mm throttle body... i am running s300 but am just using a jdm p30 basemap... the problem is when im just cruising at around 1500-2250rpms it cuts in and out, if i am above 2500 rpms it doesnt do it at all... it has not died but when it cuts it feels like running out of gas but then it picks back up. also from time to time it surges on idle. im stumped any help would be appriciated!

p.s. it never cut before the new manifold and throttle body

 

back when I had a crx I had a similar problem from putting on a different throttle body and moving over the TPS. Maybe your TPS isnt right where it needs to be. I would wait for other suggestions before going with my advise though because I am not sure
