Default 91 std sohc vtec complete swap. Help Please !

Ok I am new. and I know this is probably easy **** for you guys but I am just starting with this honda stuff. I have a 91 civic hatch std that is very clean. I bought a zc complete block and sohc vtec head with intake and all for it. I went to a wrecking yard and got a complete wiring harness off of a 94 civic ex that had a zc swap already done. I got the p28 ecu also. All I need to know now is besides droppin the motor in and connecting the ecu and wiring harness, What else needs to be done ? Like ignition ? and lights n **** like that. I cut the light wires before removing it so they are not there. I left about a foot of wires going to the driver side under the dash. Any one with info that can help I would appreciate it, Thanks.

Sounds like you've made a mess of the wiring . Try searching for OBD0 to OBD1 conversion as well as DPFI to MPFI and vtec/mini me conversion as you're doing all of the above.

^^is a great place to start.

Ok sorry for the last post, I didnt mean to do it twice. Also I failed to mention that my civic is still all together. I have not begun to disassemble it yet. The wiring harness that is cut is the one out of the 94 civic ex. I got the complete harness (including the P28 ecu and fuse box) from under the dash to under the hood to the driver side of the car. It came off of a zc sohc vtec swaped car, which is the same exact motor i am using for my swap. so shouldnt i just be able to drop the motor in and put in the ecu and wiring harness ?
