Default Does anyone recomend straight pipe welded exhast?

Does any one know if it is harmful for exhaust flow or is it an ok way to save money?

like with no flex/pivot point, welded straight to the header?

yes, eloborate, is that what they do at muffler shops when they setup custom exhausts, or do they make sections then bolt them on

Well, straight pipe save you money, incease exaust flow which is healthy for the engine. But, harmful for the environment So, please don't do it.

it will harm nothing on the car besides loud pipes save lives, but it will sound like crap

well just think how you have a seatbelt and a vehicle surrounding you, unlike someone on a motorcycle, who will be ejected from his bike.


I would also wager that having a loud exhaust has no correlation to safety, except possibly being "less safe" drivers overall (when compared)
