Car stays running with the key off
The "Curse of the Prelude" strikes again.... Finished the complete engine rebuild, installed the engine and am trying to rack up 800 break-in miles. With 400 of them complete the car now stays running with the key off and removed. The dash lights stay on and the ABS light with them. The oil pressure light blinks too.
I took the ignition switch out and in turns like it should, clicks, springs back just like it should so i don't think its that.
I'm aggravated to no end at this point in time and could really use a lift.
lol But I'd prefer some solid advice/answers.
I've double checked the main ground and the one on the driver's mount. Any thing you can offer would be great.

Just because the ignition turns and springs back doesn't mean it is good. The electrical plug that plugs into the back of the keyed part is what actually goes bad in most cases. It could be bad and still "seem" to function properly. That would be where I would start anyway.
