JDM b18c NEED HELP!!!
I recently purchased a 99 GSR and my motor threw a rod due to a bad oil pump. so I purchased an OBD2 b18c. I got the motor and it was from an automatic b18c. so I transferd my intake manifold from my blown motor and when I was transfering my engine harness I noticed I could not find where one plug goes. there are no sensors showing anywhere. its in the back of the motor behind the intake manifold by the alternator. so I just left it and hoped it would be ok... after all thats said and done I started the car yesterday and its throwing a code p1337 Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation Sensor No Signal and my idle is rough. also the car doesnt seem to be hitting vtec. any help would be appreciated. im using my stock obd2 ecu and the usdm wiring harness anything else I should know?

No crankshaft position sensor on the jdm block, therefore CEL. Your gonna need to get an OBD2 oil pump, a crankshaft position sensor and probably an OBD2 lower timing belt cover.
you can get the the type r oil pump. should probally fix your problem. and I'm still using the jdm automatic intake manifold. hopefully that helps.
what do mean, the b18c i bought? I was ask if it was going to be going on a obd2 car, I said yes and then he said I would need an oil pump or else my engine wouldnt run as good. So all the guy did was installed the oil pump in for me so I could just do a straight in swap. So that part (oil pump) cost me $150 including the labor. Everything else I did.
