anyone use a gude throttlebody on their d16a6, i've done the basic i/h/e and cam and now i'm considering one of these. just kind of worried, alot of people seem to be disappointed in his parts.

 

How much was your cam and where can i find one? How much is the Gude TB?

 

it's a crane cam and i got it for 270.00 from racesearch.com, so no one has used gude's throttlebody?

 

I got mine through King Motorsports. I am quite happy with it $175.00 w/core exchange.

I personally haven't heard anything about the Gude TB's, and I'm not sure what they cost. As far as I know, all big bore TB's are just modified OEM units though, but I could be wrong.

 

thanks, i'll check those out, not sure about the gude tb price either, sent him an email asking how much since he doesn't post his prices.

 

I Emailed Gude last week about pricing on a cam and ECU and I still haven't received a reply from them. Good Luck!

 

I saw two of their cams with 5k on them. the looked horrible! Totally uneven cuts. I had also heard about the flap in their throttle bodies sticking. I also heard that jg engineering has throttlebodies. but they just send them to gude. Stay away from them at all costs!! just my opinion though.

 

i emailed them about 3 weeks ago and no reply.

 

JG is totally diff from Gude. competitors.
I can get the JG TBs with core exchange. please email if interested.
