hey when i turn my key to start the car i get a loud buzzing like noise coming from my main relay area. ive read it may be loose grounds, i have a ground from right side of valve cover to radiator bracket, starter to body and harness to the starter because bolt broke on the thermostat, grounds to starter and alternator from fuse box.
the car made this sound a week ago when i tried starting it up and it only made the noise after the key was in the start position for too long and then it finally started up as i tried it a few times. i had to pull the head off to change out the valve stem seals and i tried it again last night and i get the noise right when i turn the key to the start position.
i pulled out the main realy and i have 3 solder points which look bad, they are slightly burnt and have bad solder joints, im going to try to resolder the points and try again, could it be anything else like my starter? or ignitor
