Default R18 SRI? Any Help Is Appreciated

I tried searching for a DIY SRI.. I had no luck..

My friend told me something about our cars having to many sensors, and it might turn on the check engine light by having a SRI/CAI in my car. Is this true?

What kind of SRI did you other R18 people use? I wanted an AEM, but i noticed a lot of people use Fujita... I have no idea what the difference is and I have $500 credit line, first credit card, and I want to spend it on my car...

Do any of you have a link to where you bought yours if you got it online?

any help is appreciated...

no that is not true. buy an intake from any big manufacturer (injen, aem, fujita, k&n, etc) will not through a CEL. they spend a fair amount of r&d time to make sure this doesnt happen

check out http://corsportusa.com as a start. i dunno how much sri run but you can get a CAI for $260. CAI will put the intake in front for your drivers wheel for "colder" air. sri keeps the filter in the engine for "hotter" air.

Especially since his last post was him trying to sell his car becuase he couldnt afford it.

Plus your gonna be spending like 400 to 500 on an intake if you make the lowest payments allowed.
