KNOCKING please help
i have a del dol i put a gsr in it and it started making a loud knocking noise so i redid my valves checked bottom end and was all good so i played with it for 2 more days and pulled it out and put a new built gsr in it and used no parts off the old gsr and the it is knocking i changed the ecu many times new wire harn new injectors about 3 times the sound is like there is a bolt in the head or like you hit the head with a hammer im lost please help

idno what to tell u in that case. i mean if u used a COMPLETELY different engine, and still had the same noise. then i guess its not the engine.

is the knock slow or quick? is it like knock knock at idle or is it gone at idle and then when you gas it does it dramatically increase its speed? sounds like to me that you have the cam oiler caps installed incorrectly and the cams are galling into the head.
