4 different Check Engine Light codes, HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CEL
OK, did the paperclip trick with the ecu and pulled 4 codes.
The car is a 96 Civic DX, and supposedly it has a 98 LX motor, tranny, and ecu (previous owner).
Would the ECU's be any different? It's the same motor d16y7.
3- MAP sensor
14- IACV
65- Secondary o2 sensor "heater wire"
91- Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor
^^^^ This is where I am concerned about the possibly different ecu, I read somewhere that if you put a 98 ecu into a 96, it will throw the code because the 96 chassis did not incorperate a FTPS?

well if its the same motor than there shouldnt be any codes... as far as I know your sensors are probably bad.. but who knows.. the cat is bad also.. your gonna have to spend money on alot of sensors my friend..
Fuel tank pressure sensor CEL is freakin me out, just because it seems like the only one thats gonna be a bitch to fix.
Does anybody know if 96 DX's actually HAVE a fuel tank pressure sensor? Because this might be a problem with the ECU, theres a good possibility it's from a later year Civic..
