help with cracking sound coming from the front wheel

This wasn't a symptom in your OP, so to us it is a new symptom. I would lube the door hinges and see if it still makes the noise. Then, back to the big issue- what could possibly be your front wheel bearing.

It's more like the axle is going bad. Park the caR with the key in the "on" position so that you don't lock up the steering wheel. Have someone turn the steering clock to clock with you under neath the caR. You should be able to tell where the cracking noise come from.

Do you mean a creaking noise? Could be a balljoint. You may need to pick up a mechanic's stethoscope and check for the source of the noise in different spots while someone else works the wheel back and forth.

I have the EXACT SAME problem.... if some realizes what the issue is please let me know (ialafroz@hotmail.com).. It will be really appreciated. I will checking the forum in a regular basis as well...
