Default 5 lug setup on an EJ8 sedan?

Hey all

I recently finished my 5 lug conversion on my 5th gen sedan (see NSX caliper thread in the Accord sub forum for a picture). I used what was required on the list and threw on some NSX calipers and man they work wonders for my car.

But NOW I'm concentrating on my girlfriends car. Kinda sounds lame but I would also like to mod her car and upgrade to a 5 lug conversion from the boring 4 lug setup. And I want it to be more of a surprise for her if anything. I haven't really seen anyone post the thread about a conversion on a sedan before and I'm hoping some of you members would be kind to help a local Honda-Tech member out.

I've been looking all over the place for a complete type r setup and so far I've found knuckles for the US spec ITR.

What would I need for the rears? I already know the drums have to be ditched in favor of rear discs.

Help?

I don't know to much on the topic but from reading a million of these threads I can help a little since no else is.

Pretty sure your going to need knuckle, e-brake cables, MC? Search around though bro. Sedan should be the same thing as a coupe.

you can only use the trailing arm.. not the control arms or compensator arms..
you will need SI ebrake cables.. or integra ones.. just need to use the adjustment..
or you can swap the drum hub with the disk hub on the rear trailing arm.. youll need to take the four T50 (i think) torx bolts out. that way you dont have to remove any of the rear arms..the fronts.. swap the spindles.. i think some type r front spindles use a 36mm axle.. you dont want that one.. front is pretty easy..
to swap the master cylinder, youll have to swap the booster as well.. not a hard concept.. i used a GSR 1" master cylinder and booster but i had to rebend one line and swap the fitting from the GSR donor car to my brake line and reflare it.. you can rent a brake flaring kit from autozone for like $20. you can find an integra RS master cylinder.. it has no abs so it shouldnt need any reflaring..

if you cant find a type r 5 lug rear trailing arm.. id assume you can use any integra 94 - 01 and just go buy a type r 5 lug bearing/hub assembly and new rotors.. just another thought
