VTEC switchover

Default VTEC switchover

OK, where would you seggest I have my VTEC kick in and off if I'm having the ECU rechiped? It's going into a '93 Civic HB with a JDM B16A2.

For starters...
-the Mugen B16a chip that I have kicks it in at 4400. (Bad for freeway IMO)

Though the best thing would be to get one of those nifty vtec controllers and tune it on the dyno. Turn vtec low and see where the Vtec cam starts making power and then turn it up high and see when the low cam drops off....to put it simply.

i have mine set at 5k and i do alot of highway driving. my b16 drinks gas like a domestic. i know i could raise the vtec point but everytime i get in the car to drive i totally forget about it. unless i go on a road trip then i'll kick it up to 6,500rpm.
