i only hear it every now and then. it's not my one and only alternator belt. someone told me it could be no oil or not sufficient oil getting to my cams. it's a stock ls oil pump. it wasn't a 'have to' to put the vtec oil pump in was it? i am not revving more than 7k. i guess i will check the cam and journals. i think some guy named mike (on this board somewhere) had a gsr and it was doing this and his cams were about to seize. if anyone has any ideas or experience about what could be causing the squeal then feel free to let me know please. thanks.
you know
when mines very warm it makes a weird squealing noise too (only from like 700-1400rpm)
i think its somthing valve related.
i havent sat down and diagnosed it yet (because i dont care)
