Nice pics, lightning is difficult to catch. You have to predict it.

AZ is awesome for summer storms. And the enormous walls of dust.

those dust walls are always cool to watch. on tv it looks like something out of a sci fi movie.. haha. cant wait for summer this year.

Last time I was in Vallarta (last summer) we caught a wicked storm that lasted all night. Poured more water than I had seen fall in even the roughest of AZ monsoons (and when it pours, it f**king pours!).
As for capturing lightning with a camera, it's actually not that hard. Just use a longer shutter speed and point the camera towards where you expect to see lightning, and cross your fingers.
This is a summer storm down here in Tucson from last year. There was so much electricity in the sky.
