none did. at least in the US.
CDM SiR's were the same as USDM's SI. SOHC.
EK SIs (the 99-00 version) were DOHC
the 91-94 JDM SiR came with the B16A3 (DOHC) - chassis code EG6, hence why we call 92-95 civics an EG...
I say 91-94 because Japan gets the cars a year earlier then the US.

technically an EK is not available to the US market
The EJ6's are what everone calls an "EK". Pretty gay IMO.
Yeah the only car remotely similar to an eg which came with DOHC was the Del Sol, and not all models either.

And EG1 and EG8 are also in the US.
The 5th gens with DOHC engines are only the EG6 and EG9. Neither came in the US market originally. I just posted this earlier today in another thread.

I thought so. You made the other thread too.

That is incorect the EG6 came with a B16A - no Japaneese motor has a number after the second letter. (i.e. just B18C not B18C1 or B18C5, just B16A not B16A1 or B16A3 etc.)
The B16A3 is the motor from the 94-95 USDM Del Sol VTEC, not a JDM motor

ACTUALLY... that's incorrect.
It's rare for a JDM engine to end in a letter, but it does happen. An example is the JDM '86-'89 Honda Accord Coupe J (CA6) that came with the A20A3.
