Default Bad news....

Well, I drove my fully built lsv to the dyno for tuning last Thursday. I had to trailer it home. It was the craziest thing. I had about 300 miles on it for break-in. They did drive ability tune first then started with power pulls. Each pull showed a decrease in hp without any modifications to the map, and my vtec was not working. Everything ohm'd out fine, so I pulled off the oil pressure sw. and found copper, not a good sign. I pulled the motor apart on sat. and found #2 rod almost completely purple from heat and discoloration on the crank as well. I'm guessing my bearing clearance was off. It's all good, I'll just build it again. Here is a couple pics of what my bay looked like before I pulled the motor.

Good to hear it's back in business. The cover looks like a John Deer made it. Definitly different

sounds like he still needs to rebuild the motor.

Dont you just hate all the hard work you put into your motor and something like that can mess your whole party up

good luck man...looking at the bay, looks like you really care.
