Are there any CAI intakes I can buy to use the piping for but still be able to reach the stock airbox and connect it to that?

 

Short ram intake, not cold...you're just cutting it anyways so get a cheap crappy one from ebay.

You can just use the stock plastic tubing (U-bend,) thats right out of the airbox, cut into a J-bend so it picks up air from the lowest part of the fenderwell.

Essentially, youre making a comptech icebox, but for ridiculously low money.
With a K&N filter, I believe it performs excellently.
Functions as well as a cold air intake, but will never suck up water, because the filter cannot become submerged
