Default Need Help UNLOWERING a civic

I have my 98 DX hatchback with 4" adj coils. And there totalling the car. So Im taking my coils back. I can get them off, but I cannot get my stock springs back on. I rented a spring compressor, but I cant put it in between the coils cuz the strut goes thro it. WHAT can I do to get my stock springs back on!?!?!

rent the correct spring compressor. you rented the wrong one.

get the one from autozone that goes on the outside of the spring.

D16Y8's have Vtec BTW. and come in 6th gen Civic EX coupes
