like the title says .. i found a write up .. but he used a new harness or soemthing .. how can i wire the resitor box and my injectors using the harness i have?? and where is the dead end plug?? hypnotik said it was under the intake manifold in his write up .. but there is a big plug located at the top right of my engine bay? i'm confused

 

I would say search but the search function is OOC right now. You can always google it. There are a LOT of writeups and periodicals about this. GL.

there are 2 plugs under the intake manifold, one is blue, one is grey. find the one with the yel/blk wires, test these wires for continuity from the plug to the injector plug (un clip the inj plug) when you find the 4 with continuity, remove them from the big plug, these will go to the 4 black wires on the resistor box, the red wire on the resistor box will go into the connector where the inj wires came from.

 

in a write up i found a guy made his own harness but it went right where this plug was ...


is this the dead end plug on an obd2 civic?? this is where my confusion comes from

 

I've never used the dead plug method. Instead, i ran my resistor box like this:

 

welll i would do that but i dont know what plug i wiret the resistor box too ... is it the one i have circled??

the write up you found is for the eg 92-95 civic. the dead end would be on the shock tower of the driver's side. i've done that. i have an ek now and the dead end is under the intake manifold. its either grey or blue, i cant remember. um. i believe its the grey one - the one with the yellow/black wires running to it. i have to cut the yellow/blacks and run the ones from the harness to the individual wires on the injector resistor box. the the four wires left hanging on the dead end, you tie them all together and attach them to the red wire on the injector resistor box. then bam! you're done. you can email me if you need any further info

This is essentially all you need. Even if you are wiring it at the dead end plug the wires still go like this diagram and you just need to find which wires are going to the injectors like DaveF said.

Like Dave said, there is a junction...it's split in two. One side is a series of ground wires, and one side is a series of power wires. The power wires are yellow/black. Do continuity to the injectors and determine which four go there, then wire the resistor box outputs to those four. Then just connect the resistor power to the junction wires you just cut.

Just wanted to know 1 thing if possible...
The 4 yellow/black wires... from the injectors which connect to the 4 wires from the resistor box, do they need to be connected in any particular order like 1 2 3 4
Or can i just connect them to resistor box individually in any order?
Is it like when injector 1 is ON then 3 is OFF or something? or these yellow/black wires some source of Constant power....

Ofcourse the different colour wires ie yellow, blue, red, brown are wired to ecu as 1 2 3 4...but just wanted to know if the yellow/black wires were same...

 

No, of the 4 yellow/blacks that go to the injectors, it doesn't matter what order they go into the resistor box. There's five wires on the resistor, one power wire, the rest are the "injector outs". Just wire the four to the four "injector outs" which are black on most resistor boxes.

Yes, the injectors see constant power, while the individually colored wires that go to the injectors (red, blue, brown, yel) are the control wires that go to the ecu.
