Well i'm not sure if their entire lineup has increased in price but it looks that way. And I certainly have no clue as to why they did this.

TEIN SS and Flex went up about $210 to a retail of $1600 and $2190 for the FG2/FA5. And the Tein H-Tech and S-Tech are now retailing at $370 and $340.

Corsport no longer carries TEIN products now. Since TEIN raised their price so much they decided to drop them.

http://www.showstoppersusa.com however still carries TEIN. H-Techs are now $259 and S-Techs are $239. TEIN SS are now $1399 and the Flex is now $1899 on their site.

I was never thinking of getting tein but now it just solidifies it for me. Im going the eibach pro kit route. Maby HFP but I seriously doubt it.


Just wait till gas hits 6 dollars in the next 5 years.

If it wasn't for government subsidies we would be paying the same prices they pay in Europe $8 + a gallon

It's a matter of opinion, my experience with their products have been good.

its an issue because if it happened to tein, it could happen to any other aftermarket performance company. everything is getting expensive nowadays.

The reason i'm even making a big deal is because I ordered TEIN Super Streets on the 29th of April. Unfortunately the person I ordered them from said his distributor didn't place the order before the May 1st price increase.

So now I'm pissed, the guy I ordered from is pissed and we're trying to figure out what should be done about this. The distributor doesn't want to eat up the extra 200 bucks so he's trying to pin it on us even though we sent the order 2 days before the deadline.

 

I guess I got in on time... I picked my S-Techs brand new for 175 shipped

driving 45 min to and from work anymore sucks. once gas hits $5/gal I'm going to ask if I can work from home or I get a raise.. it's getting rediculous!

 

Well screw that. The supplier to wanted my go-to guy to just "bite the bullet" for the $200 price hike. Even though it was the supplier's fault

So I cancelled the order and went with the Skunk2 Pro-C instead and had him order it from a DIFFERENT supplier.
