Default Cylinders 1, 2, 3, and 4 Misfiring Codes

Hey there, I just recently rebuilt my 2000 Gsr with some new JDM itr pistons and camshafts... torqued everything down to spec and drove it for a little while and it seemed to drive fine. Shortly afterwards it just started throwing out some codes outta the blue reading codes 71, 72, 73, and 74 so I'm just scratching my head right now, did I do something wrong or what. Let me know if there is anything that might help out, thanks.........

did you change the pistons yourself? did you line up the piston rings and shave them down to spec? did you put in the cicrcular lock thing after inserting wrist pins?? did you put the pistons in backwards?

thats the only things i can see you did wrong unless it's timing?

are your valves adjusted properly?
how was the timing set?
and if any what tuning or ecu are you using?

I put my motor back together and at idle it was mis-firing, and a simple valve adjustment was all it took.

compression test results also would help.

I think he used cast pistons not forged.

To the OP, check your timing, also make sure your timing belt didn't skip a tooth. Was the head milled, block decked, If CR is too high, you may be getting detonation. What plug range are you running? Is it tuned? Valves adjusted?

yea all of the pistons were put in correctly and were all double-checked before going on to the next phase. the timing was put back to TDC and valves adjusted too...
