Default 94 LS head on 00 Teg

I want to search but the search server is down at the moment.
So here's the question, will I be able to swap a LS head from a 94 LS teg to a 00 LS teg? Anything different at all between them two. I am talking about just the head not the complete motor.

The biggest issue your dealing with is changing from obd2 to obd1 not sure of everything involved when just replacing the head but from my understanding its a pain in the a$$ someone correct me on this if im off.

The head itself is the same, the only differences between the 2 would be the distributor, and injectors, 94 is obd1 and 00 is obd2. just use an obd2 distributor, and injectors and you will be fine

to add to the previous statement, the distributor is different the injectors as said before as well as the intake manifold is slightly different... the 94 one will work but ur best bet is use the 2000 intake manifold and accessories and the head will work perfectly

Got it. Thanks for the reply.

Few more questions. my car is at the shop and my mechanic has already taken everything apart including the block. I was thinking of just replacing everything now.

Here's my list
Piston and rings
timing belt
water pump
headgasket
All the seals

Where can I can these replacement parts cheap? Should I stick to stock or aftermarket?

oem honda is ur best bet but will not fall into "cheap" ebay offers lots of good quality rebuild kits for cheap that should do the job as long as ur mechanic know what he is doing!
