rear disc conversion question

Default rear disc conversion question

will the 90-93 integra rear disc brake system fit on a eg or not? if not what vehicle do i need the get the conversion parts off of?

yes it will fit. Im pretty sure you can use the trailing arm but u just need to swap the UCA and Toe Link adjuster to the civic one. u also need 92-95 civic ebrake cables and a 4040 prop valve. When i did my rear disk i swapped the hubs by removing the 4 TORX bolts on the back then swapped them all back

i actually used integra cables with my swap even though mine were from a 94+ integra and was told not up upgrade the prop valve since the front brakes are your primary stopping source anyway

stops fine with stock prop valve though. my 40/40 prop valve leaked so i used stock on on my rear disc converson. Only difference i think it with the stock prop valve is that if you lock it down the rear will be just like pulling the e-brake?

when i did my rear disc conversion i used the DC integra brake cables, but i didnt get the 40/40 valve... i did, however, get the brake booster and master cylinder. i thought that my brakes felt "stronger" than before i had the brake booster and master cylinder *like the brake pedal didnt feel mushy*

wouldn't parts from a del sol or a 92-95 si work better?

yeah you'll be good
just reuse your lca's and camber piece (that's a pain to take off anyway)
