Planing on boosting the y8 and ive looked at different kits. What I want to know is are the kits on Ebay worth anything? I mean there is the saying you get what you pay for. But they look like ok kits for 1000 bucks. So if anyone out there has any exp. with these kits. Please let me know. Thx Ben

i know some dude that got a kit off of ebay for 600 and hez been running it since oct 07 and the only things that went bad was the manifold and downpipe cracked...haha...yehh u do get wat u pay for!

The best thing for your wallet is to research and piece together a kit. Fleebay is REALLY risky.

 

Do some research and piece together your own kit.

 

Ebay turbo kits..

Turbos are junk, manifolds are junk, waste gates are junk, blow off valves are junk..

Do some research here on honda-tech there are several threads about XSpower turbo kits and ebay turbo kits.

 

ebay turbo kit. does it sound like it should be in the same sentence to you? 5 bucks says the bearing takes a **** first.

 

my friend bought a kit of ebay like xs turbo or something along the line, anyway the kit is so [freak]ed up that the car still isn't running right and he bought this like the beginning of last year, hahaha. Bearings leaked down pipe was wrong missing intercooler piping no fittings or lines,. BOV did not attach to piping. A big [freak]ing pain in the ***. would not recomend. . i would just rather peace my own **** to gether.
